Hello i have a question it been a month i been off the depo shot and my body feels really weird.. I was on Depo for 15 years age 15 to I don't want children but decided to stop back in April to see if it would help alleviate feelings of depression, anxiety and facial excema. My OB-GYN had told me that you must be off the the shot for TWO years in order for them to be able to determine if you may have fertility issues or if your inability to become pregnant was a result of the lasting effects of Depo. WELL let me tell you, my last shot was October which as you all know lasts for 3 months December I got pregnant about ONE month later. I've been on the shot for around 6 or 7 years. I was anemic and my period was so heavy I was bleeding way to much. Honestly I didn't do any research on it when I got on it, an have never had any of the bad side effects. Maybe a little weight gain but I eat a lot, too!

I have been on depo provera shot for 2 years 9 months then I withdraw the depo provera shot this July 30 th and on the 3rd of August I had spotting with so much pain, it took 3 days then September 4th I had stomach pains and could feel the heat, this took 5days no spotting only pain.
