We brought the kids 13 and 10 to fish at the pier in August of They had a blast and caught a lot of pin fish, and once in a while a jack. Although we didn't go home with anything to cook for dinner, the kids really enjoyed themselves trying to catch fish, and watching everyone else fish. The king fishermen were also enjoyable to watch as they reeled in a couple big ones while we were there.

The cashier and everyone on the pier that we encountered were very nice and friendly. Many of the fishermen also shared their pin fish for bait. Some of the bigger fish were caught in very shallow water, and it seemed like everyone was catching something. We will definitely return.

Great place for fishing and a great view. I didn't get to fish but I did spend some time on the pier and in the store. I really enjoyed the upper deck they have at the end of the pier.

You get a a great view of the fishing on the pier and an unobstructed view of the beach line and ocean. It's also nice how they have shaded benches lining the center of the pier if you need a break from the sun. It looked like people were catching a wide variety of fish and they have a cool sign where you can take pictures with the fish you catch there.

The staff in the store are very friendly and they have a very large selection of fishing supplies, beach toys, clothing, food and more all at good prices.
