Where is roast restaurant

Really enjoyed our first time at Roast. Terrific afternoon though. Can't praise the restaurant enough, fabulous food and service. Can't wait to return. Smart place but expected better food and service for the price. A great place to meet friends. The restaurant was very generous with the time they allowed us to stay at table.

Expensive for what it is. Slow - not very attentive service. We had almost finished our mains by the time the wine arrived. They only really do roast dinners and the whole thing was a bit average - roast potatoes were poor.

The food was overpriced and very average. Pubs do much nicer and better value roasts. Great location, service and tasty food : Would definitely recommend! Lovely food, but a small portion of beef and no sides included.

Quite pricey, have had just as good food for less, so a bit expensive in my view taking into account it's a big noisy venue but obviously fine if you like that set up. Obviously a great setting with views over Borough market. Just not my thing. Surely there should be a cut off time for small children to be in restaurants.

Food was lovely and a very nice setting. Portion sizes are smaller and you do need to order sides and lots of extra gravy sides in which you do get charged for. Great all round experience, quality of food, ambience and service all fantastic. We had been there in previous ocassions but this time was very disappointing. The quality of the food poor, the scrambled eggs tasted like powder, not fresh at all.

The orange juice, supposed to be "fresh" as per the menu, came from a bottle. Overall, it was a let down. Went with a friend on a last minute choice. The starter of scotch egg and black pudding hash was tasty.

Chateaubriand was ok maybe slightly over done. The waiting staff were not the friendliest which did impact the experience. Almost back to pre-pandemic levels; great meat and service good, despite very busy. Our starters were cold which was a shame as the mains were very good. Good food although service was quite slow. But would recommend. Order Hake fish, looked lovely and was fresh.

Shame - got to the centre and it was undercooked. There was brown meat cooked and pink where the brown meat section had not cooked through. Sent it back. The chef said that was normal. Needs to check food safety standards. They charged me for it. Will not be going back and will not recommend. They may have been a little short staffed and the place was busy.

The chips when they arrived were incredible. Very noisy. Not possible to hold a normal conversation with guests. Excellent service and fine quality ingredients. But some of the food had dried out which spoilt what otherwise would have been a really excellent meal. Love Roast. Food and staff always impeccable.

Amazing market menu 2 for 1 offer at present. Hockey recommend. Perfectly good food, however for the prices I would expect better execution. Multiple different waiters also meaning no continuity. We had cocktails by the glass windows and you get the view of the art gallery which is just beautiful. One of my favorite place with the Peninsula for brunch, lunch or diner in Chicago.

I go twice per month as minimum. I like the front window or the roof top, service is just nice and clean. Meals as well as bites from the starters to desert including bread are very good and creative!
