6 weeks how long between feeds

Bottle-feeding Maximum time between feeds at 2 weeks. Bottle-feeding 6 weeks old never finishes a bottle! Bottle-feeding how do i get baby to stretch longer between feeds???? Bottle-feeding Milk feeds at 9 months? Bottle-feeding Aptamil first or follow on milk at 6 months??

My daughter slept through at 6 weeks 7pm to 7 am and never used to wake for a feed. If she is sleeping you don't need to worry about waking her. She is obviously getting enough during the day to feel her up. Don't be worried, be grateful! She should continue to go for a slightly longer spell at night over the next few weeks. The reason might be that i have slow milk flow. I understood when I tried to pump. Some other moms miggt have fast flow and baby also sucks rapidly so they finish within 10 mins. I just gave my example, not to confuse you but to state that every baby is different, as is every mom and every paed.

After baby got more efficient with suckling around 4 months , this reduced to less than 15 mins per feed.

My baby was always a demand feed with the feed interval not exceeding hrs. I had a time when he fed hourly as well My baby is 7weeks old now, I feed her whenever she demands. But sometimes if she sleeps for long hours more than 4or5 mostly during night, I wake her up or lie beside her and feed her for as much long she wants.

So her sleep doesn't gets interrupted and she drinks her tummy full. Thanks a lot everyone.. It was a great help. Looking at your varied comments..
